Keep your appliances away from food or spills, as this will cause corrosion and wear the appliance out. For example, place all of your appliances on a separate countertop that isn’t used for cooking or baking to avoid burns. Other ways you can prevent accidents are by using an oven mitt when taking hot pans out of the oven and always using pot holders around heating elements. Do not let water sit in any part of your refrigerator or freezer overnight because it could become frozen solid if left too long without thawing first, which would damage the insulation inside the unit! Also, do not leave anything plugged into an electrical outlet longer than necessary.
