- Water Heater Vacation Mode: If your water heater has a “vacation mode,” now’s the time to use it! No need to heat water for an empty house.
- Adjust the Thermostat: Keep your home cozy, but save energy (and money!) by setting your thermostat a few degrees lower while you’re away. Think of it as an early gift to yourself! 🎁
- Check Smoke Detectors: With all the holiday cooking and festive candles (that you’ll be enjoying elsewhere!), it’s still crucial to ensure your smoke detectors are in top working order before you leave.
